Having moved to Tauranga in the early 2000’s an opportunity arose to undertake a building apprenticeship with Belco Homes whilst building my own home in Omokoroa. Qualifying as a builder in 2010, I continued to work for Belco Homes on some simply stunning Bay of Plenty homes which required dedication to a quality finished product. I then worked for Louvretec BOP installing aluminium opening roofs across much of the North Island. A highlight being the role of managing the installation of the louvres on the ANZ building on Elizabeth St in Tauranga. In 2015, I started installing rangehoods, work which I thoroughly enjoy due to the combination of problem solving and quality finishing work.
